OMG Rhea, you've out done yourself this time! This reminds me of this hat which is knitted: http://shop.interweave.com/store/Koolhaas-Hat-P211C0.aspx?AFID=12
I've NEVER seen anything like that done in crochet! I must try it and I'm so excited I can now make a crocheted version of that gorgeous hat!
BTW I love all the rest of your hats, I've done a few of them myself. Grin

Your patterns are so awesome. You rock so hard. Thanks for writing all these up for us! I just made your divine hat and I'm thinking this one's next. It's beautiful.

Really cute!  I always did wonder how to add that texture on top.  Your patterns by the way are really easy to follow.  I had zero problems following the divine hat and really hope this one is just as easy peasy.  Thanks!

I can't wait to try making this hat, I have some yarn I have been wanting to buy, but didn't have a project for yet, I think I found my project!  Thanks for all the great patterns, I have bookmarked several to make!

Wow!  I LOVE this hat!!  Hats are my favorite thing to make as well Smiley  I have never seen a crochet hat like this, and I can't even tell you how much I like it.  I love the colors too - what yarn did you use?
