I really like the scoodies I've seen around so I decided to make one too. This is my first completed project with a sewing machine as well. I've hand sewn everything else I've made.

I used a really old shirt and a sweat shirt I rarely ever wore anymore.





Once I was done with it the hood was too small to cover my head as much as I would have liked, that sucked because the hood looked so damn good in my opinion. To fix it I made another rectangle and sewed it to the hood and left the bottoms of it detached from the scarf, it looks okay... I can also fold it down like a giant collar.  Roll Eyes

I have to admire your ingenuity to improvise when it did not intially turn out as you expected.  I like it better the way it ended up and think it looks great!
