Wonderful job on the costume! I hope he appreciated it (I was ripping black thread out of black fabric this week, so black on black embroidery has a familiarly daunting feel to it).

This is one of my all time favorite movies, I first had it on video tape then upgraded to the DVD!! 
I recognized him immediately, spot on, and such detail.  Your skills are to be applauded, oh and your patience!!

Thanks to everybody for the complements on the smocking.  I did ask myself, and anyone who would listen, why I decided to do it, but I'm glad i did.

Great costume and the sleeves are awesome.  I am sure it took a long time to do that.  Honeycomb stitch smocking, not sure if I would have done such a good of a job as you did.  Wonderful pics of your work.  Thank you for sharing them.  It is nice to see a man outside of the garage.  Smiley
