Ok, I almost always go as a Witch, using clothes I already have, but this year I wanted to do a complete costume, so I drew this:

And this is how it came out:

(Please forgive the weird face, I don't really like having my pic taken)
So, Basically I made the corset from scratch, following Roethke's tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=122286.msg1177367#msg1177367. I also made the skirt with my new ruffler (BTW, does anybody else get massive headaches when using a ruffler?), then I got an old, pirate-type shirt and cut it down for the bolero, but it was too wide, so I ruffled the back, and then I made some spats as I couldn't find any boots I like. The hat is black felt, reinforced with thin cardbord and coverd is black fabric, it didn't really come out like I wanted, maybe next year.
please tell me what you think, I'll try to get some pics done of each part this week, as my photograper was lazy.
Just to add one thing. I wanted each part of the costume to be something I could later wear to go out partying any given day, I think I achieved that!
