To celebrate my new short haircut, I decided to be a fairy for halloween.  I hope that what I probably lack in originiality I make in workmanship?

I made:
-the shirt-my first sleeved shirt ever! tricky!
-the corset-following Roethke's tutorial.
-the tutorial-following no tutu and regretting it.  It has several layers of different colored tulle.
-the wings-following this  link:http://www.hgtv.com/crafting/floral-tea-party-fairy-wings/index.html.

Close up of wings:

A lot of people liked it at my school, which was nice.  These pics were taken at school, but I donned false eyelashes and tons more makeup later.  You can't see the elf ears in the first picture, but it was really funny how everyone would notice them 20 minutes into class.

Hope you enjoyed, C&C loved and adored!

They'll name a city after us-and later say it's all our fault.

Fairies are always fun. The whole costume is amazing. I love how the wings turned out.
