This is quite probably the most awesome room ever. I am completely in love with that wall! Now I'm trying to figure out how to do that in my room. I like that you used the curtains on the closet instead of the doors that way he can't smash his fingers. The lamp is amazing and I also love the cluster of circular mirrors above the shelf Smiley

You guys did an amazing job! Congrats on the baby as well!

Thank you so much! Smiley

That's exactly why removed the old wooden doors and went with curtains instead.  I swear they were the original doors that were installed when the house was built in '69! Cheesy  They are heavy and fall of the tracks sometimes, so we opted to remove them and store them in case the next owners prefer them.

Thanks for the congrats, too! Smiley Smiley

I love the paint job!! It is classy, simple, tasteful but also adds so much interest to the room. I wish I could find a chair like that on craigslist... So many adorable details. Great job and congrats!!!!

Thanks!!  The chair is sooo ridiculously comfortable.  It was definitely a great find!

This is so nice! The refurbished valance idea is brilliant and I love the shelving SO much! How is it attached to the ceiling? I have often dreamed about adding a nursery to our little house (someday) and this is the room of my dreams.

Thanks so much!

The shelving is attached with anchors, loops and cable fasteners.  Here's a close-up shot, if it helps!

Hubby laughs because the weight the cables and fasteners will hold is upwards of a few hundred pounds. Cheesy  I wanted to make sure it wouldn't fall if a certain someone ever tugged on it, though!
