I teach pre-k and was looking for something to put on the cover of these scrapbooks I make of all the kids artwork etc. I give to the Mom's for Mother's Day.  I decided to do silhouettes on the cover.  This is my trial one I made with my 6 year old daughter's profile.  She has a real cute profile.  She has a little upturned nose.

I followed this tutorial

I remember having to sit really still in preschool so my teacher could trace my profile.

This will be a super easy way to do my 16 month old's silhouette. Thanks for the link!

I love these and think they're really cute. I can't wait to do one for my kids some day.

My mom is also a preschool teacher, and she does this every year! I think she has mine laying around somewhere still!

I like these. My mom did one when she was in school and it hung on my grandparents' living room wall. It had the whole background covered in glitter and it looked really nice hanging on their wall. I didn't do one when I was in school though. I think that is a nice idea for the scrapbook cover and I'm sure their mothers will love them.
