I drew out an idea of something new for a change. Anyhow this is what I came up with. I am going to have to make a pattern out of it for me to make more of them at a later date. Anyhow here they are, sorry no action shots today the girls are not cooperating with me.

I made these ones up today and they turned out very well. I modified the pattern I made up to make them bigger for size 3 to 4 toddler.

I think they're great. Lots of possibilities.

It's not what you know, but what you do with what you know that is important.

that would be really cute with  a peasant top, top. and easy for little ones to put on and off by themselves.

Adorable! Those are soooo cute! I was thinking of making some (without the elastic at the top) for my son...and of course extend the straps and make a button instead. I am always making cute little dresses and tops for little girls (which I don't have!...so my nieces get very lucky!) but was having a hard time finding patterns and such for boys... but I think this would work great with a few modifications! Did you use the same measurments for the front and back?Huh This looks wonderful! Great job!

Lisa - You are right that is my next project. This outfit is for a swap I am involved in with a bunch of mommies of babies that were born in August 2005.

Gelina - Yes the measurements are the same for the top part both front and back. Obviously the bottoms are measured to accommodate little butts/diapers/traning pants. I do have some tweaking to do to it for length for bigger kids but that is very simple. I will post pictures of both of my girls wearing the overalls later.
