I recently have became obsessed with Miyavi; for those who do not know him, he's an amazing Japanese musician.

Since there's no Miyavi merch in the US, I decided to make one of my own (like I always do Cheesy)

First I stenciled his face:

& his name -The Asian character: It has the same meaning in Japanese and Chinese (I had to ask my mom; I'm a Chinese school dropout):

ELEGANCE

I didn't like how it fitted on me so I cut out the neck band and the edge of the sleeves. I also sewed on ribbons so I could adjust the tightness at the back.

Cool shirt. I'm gonna see what I can find out about Miyavi now. Oh, and the name definitely sounds Japanese.

What a great work! I really like the way you painted the stencil, it turned out as if it's faded..really appropriate for Miyavi's elegance!

yes Miyavi is Japanese.
The characters on your shirt is Kanji, which is a written form of Japanese.

And it's an awesome shirt.
I would love to own that shirt.

The shirt looks great. I would wear it even without knowing anything about him.
