So our youngest wanted to go as a gnome, then that gave the oldest an idea to be the gnome's home. Smiley

The mushroom was made with scraps from around the house. The bones of the cap was screen that my husband sewed into shape, then I paper mached. The rest was just scraps around the house on a old duvet cover that I made into a dress.

The gnome was just material and scraps of cool trim that again I had here. Her drindal was from Germany so I didn't actually make that part of it. All the rest was from scratch.

With out further ado........

the gnome shoes are missing in this photo, they were being cleaned when hubby took this shot.

Thanks guys,

The girls had a blast and that was the coolest part. I am always amazed at what they come up with. Last year one was a peacock and the year before that we had an eyeball.

Cant wait to see what they pull out next year.
