Hello everyone,
I want to buy myself a new sewing machine. I am an art student, so it kind of has to do more unusual sewing stuff as well. I fell for the Pfaff select 3.0, I'd rather go and buy it right now, but it is too expensive to do that.
I was looking for reviews but couldn't really find something useful.
Is there someone who owns a pfaff select machine and would like to tell me about it? What do you think about it?
Thanks a lot beforehand,
Dorien

This might not be THE most helpful answer since I've never even tried a select, but as far as I can tell from the select reviews on patternreview.com, the select series is an updated version of a range where the model numbers start with 15something. (1548 is a select machine for example). If you look around a little you might find out which one the 3.0 replaced and find more reviews on that one that are more or less the same.

Patternreview is a really good site for sewing machine research btw, if you haven't seen it. You'll have to sign up to see many reviews but it's well worth it and spam free. If you can't find reviews for the machine you're after, the forums are filled with people who know what they're talking about Wink

And for what it's worth, I've heard a lot of good things about the select machines, and I only have good experiences with Pfaff people from when I owned a Pfaff before.
