I am soooo happy I bought this!!!! It turned out great, instructions super easy to follow and easy to sew as well. This is my first more detailed jacket and I am so in love with it. I am going to make up another one but for my younger toddler.

I still have to pick up buttons for the jacket so I just placed the ones that are on it just to give the idea of the finished product. I am thinking going with more of a brown button, the ones that are on there are a bit loud in my opinion. When it is totally finished I will post pictures of Acadia wearing her new jacket.

I am not sure if I can post the link to it here but if not I am sure they will ask me to delete it or something.

That is a fantastic coat ... and I vote for keeping the buttons you used in the photos. They go with the lining perfectly. I don't find them loud at all, just fun!

So cute!!!  Are those buttons from Wal-Mart?  I bought a pack like that for my daughter's jacket and thought they were a bit loud for hers too.  Oh well, I'm sure I'll find a use for them some day.  Smiley Isn't Vegbee's pattern great?

I love it with those buttons on there. They are so vibrant and scream toddler cuteness!

very cute, I vote for less loud buttons, but that's just me!

Is the animal print the cotton version or the flannel version?

It's not what you know, but what you do with what you know that is important.

Cotton version. I found 9 yards of it on ebay for like $20 dollars which is cheap considering it can cost about $8.00 a meter here in Winnipeg.
