I'm very proud of my sister because she's successfully passed on our love of Pokemon to my four-year-old niece and she decided she wanted to go as Meowth for Halloween! Our little nerdling. Cheesy

I'd never made a full body suit before but this pattern (Butterick B3238) was really quite easy. I opted to make my own hood and attach it rather than go for their separate coif thing and since we'd be trick-or-treating at the mall I also decided to leave off the mittens. She really enjoyed it and her mom dressed up as James, in a Team Rocket grunt outfit she pieced together.  Grin

Anyway, it's nothing too fancy but I had fun making it and I thought it was a success since she refused to take it off except to go to the bathroom. X)

you are so lucky I did not see that child while you were trick or treating...because I would have stolen her.

Thats so cute! I did not see one home made costume on a kid and we had around 150+ kids come to our door. I was so sad, but this totally cheers me up!

That is sad, I think we might have gotten a few at our house. But we always want to go as weird stuff that you can't find in a store so we usually stick with hand-made. Smiley
