I made this for my beautiful goddaughter.
I started with a 3x3 basketweave in Lionbrand Homespun. But then I ran out of the purple so I added the multicolor as a thick border since it didn't look very blanket-ish.

Here are the promised pics with my goddaughter:














And a fun closeup



Once I get a pic of her with the blanket, I'll be sure to post it.

Thanks Lindsey! I love Homespun... I just wish it wasn't so expensive. The blanket is soooo warm and soft.

I love it!  I love the finished product with lb homespun but I HATE working with it...  Can I just cuddle up with your blankie?  Grin
