I made this for my beautiful goddaughter.
I started with a 3x3 basketweave in Lionbrand Homespun. But then I ran out of the purple so I added the multicolor as a thick border since it didn't look very blanket-ish.

Here are the promised pics with my goddaughter:

And a fun closeup

Once I get a pic of her with the blanket, I'll be sure to post it.

Thanks Lindsey! I love Homespun... I just wish it wasn't so expensive. The blanket is soooo warm and soft.

Myklia: Thanks so much! I'm hoping I can use pieces of this blanket in my future scarf.  Cheesy

Thanks madidolly. It is so snugly. It kept me nice and warm when I was making it.
If I could afford it, I'd make myself one with the same yarn.

I love it!  I love the finished product with lb homespun but I HATE working with it...  Can I just cuddle up with your blankie?  Grin

Thanks psychoindie! I didn't have much of a problem working with it because I used a decently large hook.
I'd let you cuddle up with it if I had it.  Wink
