It is based off of computer simulations of salt fingers: http://www.planetwater.ca/research/oceanmixing/saltfingers.html
You can see real ones in lab experiments too

Sold to a2k - thanks!

Blue bird necklace and earring set - (1)
Bird pendant/necklace with matching chunky glass bead earrings. I had difficulty photographing this, but it's a silver-toned pendant. The second photo shows the metal tones a little better. (Includes a free jewelry bag or gift box.)

Ansel Adams Earrings Set 1 - (0.5)
These earrings remind me of an Ansel Adams photograph. Beads are made from Jasper stones.

Set of 5 Gocco printed notecards (with blank envelopes) - (0.5)
5 cream bird on branch

I recycled used gift cards.  That one was a Target gift card with a great flower design.  I simply take a guitar pick and use it as a template and cut the gift cards to size with a very good pair of scissors.  I then take sand paper to smooth the edges.  It's a bit time consuming, but fairly easy to make.
