Unfortunately none of our friends at the party watch The Mighty Boosh (fools that they are) so had no idea who he was supposed to be, but they loved the costume regardless!!

Trailer Park Boys is ace. FACT.

Photos of my friend's costume as requested, because a) it's a great way to put off doing my psychology essay and b) staying up to watch the election is making me sleepy with the time zone rubbishness.

I'm so pleased we managed to find this facepaint. Like I said, the whole thing was a bit last minute (i.e. 5pm on Friday he decided not to go Jerome from Flight of the Conchords after all) so I ended up running all over Glasgow trying to find face paint, a wig, a tutu and a suitable jacket. I gave up pretty early if I'm honest... right about when I found this.

The monstrosity that was his 5-minute wig. I basically shredded a greenish/turquoise dress we bought from a charity shop, and a bin liner, and knotted them together along on long strip. Add a whole bunch of bobby-pins and you have a wig guaranteed to fall off at some point. And lo! it soon did.

Just for kicks...

Dave sulking because I refused to put his face paint on him. It smelt funny. (And the other Dave looking like a VERY ladylike Goldilocks.... Roll Eyes )

Half-finished Old Gregg, David Bowie (minus eye-patch) and myself as Baby Bear (again, half-finished - I hadn't sewn the ears on yet!)

Like I said, your version puts ours to shame! We're not the most organised flat - maybe next year we'll get sorted BEFORE the actual day!  Roll Eyes

Hilarious! I love the lighted mangina!
I've never watched the show either but my brother did show me Old Gregg on YouTube.
