There is a bit of a back story to this costume.  May daughter, now 3, recieved a Sesame Street DVD as a gift last year about this time.  In this DVD, Ben Stiller is a guest in the "People in Your Neighborhood" song, and he dresses up as a cheese in order to be a "person in the neighborhood."  (See video)

She asked me weekly, for and ENTIRE YEAR, for a cheese costume for Halloween.  Without further adeu, my daughter, the cheese:

(this is her "cheese face")

The costume is made of felt, foam core board, masking tape, and hot glue.  Oh, and I sewed the felt pieces together.

We went to the Fall Festival at our church, and everyone thought she was a riot.  (Only one person thought that she was a piece of pie.)

Thanks, she loved wearing it for the first 20 minutes.   Roll Eyes  And how can you tell a face like that, "No, I can't/won't/don't want to make you a cheese" ?   Cheesy

it is not inertia alone that is responsible for human relationships repeating themselves, monotonous and un-renewed, it is shyness before all else.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty funny the first 40 times she watched it...  the next 400 times, I wanted to shoot Ben Stiller.

Ummm...  he kinda freaked out on it a few minutes later, I guess he thought the cheese was trying to get her?

Did you notice the boots, too?  I tried forEVER to get her into other shoes, but she wasn't having it!
