While visiting friends from home at a club, one friend whisked a floppy-woppy goofy looking shark hat out of her bag, thrust it at me, and said, "Here!  I thought of you when I saw this!"  And I totally understood.  I am an involutary collector of the random and hilarious...

So said shark hat has sat in my closet for nearly a year, making appearances here and there, but never really realizing it's potential...until Halloween!  Upon seeing it a few days ago I was inspired for my costume!  A shark attack victim!

Fake blood on the shark fangs.  Ripped and shredded a rashguard (normally I could NEVER bring myself to do this, but this rashguard was the victim of a food fight and has harboured a stubborn neon yellow mustard stain annoyingly placed just over the left breast area), applied fake blood to the max, donned my wetsuit (only half zipped--too hot otherwise!), slapped on some reefwalker shoes I picked up at goodwill, applied some blood for a headwound (which dried in a particularly realistic and sickening way), and strapped on my Spongebob Squarepants boogie board in which I had sawed giant bite marks and applied some blood.

All in all hilarious!  Best part that we were planning on skydiving in costume all day.  Weather didn't allow an all day jump-athon, but I did manage to get in one jump in my wetsuit!  Pictures below just have my loud board shorts, but that's because it got rather warm and the wetsuit was faaar too hot!

Wow, that's one of the funniest costumes I've seen that involves blood!  Usually it's just dead people.. good job!
