I love Halloween. I have a habit around Halloween time of buying lots of Halloween fabrics and then never using them. Not this year. This year my husband nagged me enough that I made my two favorite neighbor children trick-or-treat bags.

I used this tute (http://thelongestyear.typepad.com/DrawstringBagInstructions.pdf), but changed the dimensions to be a bit boxier instead of rectangular.

I made the bags out of the same material, just in different colors so there was no fighting over which belonged to whom. I lined the bags with my favorite material ever: candy corn material!!

Great Halloween bags!  You have inspired me to make bags for my nieces & nephews!  Thanks for the Link to the tute also!

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the compliments!!

Juaniece, the tute is incredibly easy. I finished both bags in less than an hour, including measuring, cutting, sewing, and making bias tape for the drawstrings (which takes me forever and a year). If you make them, post pictures. I'd love to see.
