Good lord, you did all of that sewing in a MONTH?  The mind boggles...

This is just friggin' incredible, and so incredibly flattering on both of you.  I'm really impressed by all the attention to detail!

Totally rocks!

Believe me, my mind is boggled too!! Cheesy I don't even want to look at my sewing machine for at least a week.

Oh, and reconning FTW! The red velvet is from a movie theater they tore down here a few years ago. The curtains up by the screen and along the walls. From movie theater to Elizabethan court. Kinda apropos, eh?

I don't think that I could finish that dress if I were given a year to do so, lol, much less finish both outfits in the few weeks that you had.  I have cooking skills, but no sewing skills to speak of.

Anyhow, your dress is gorgeous, and I just love the sleeves and colors <3.  I had to register to tell you again how awesome this project is, and how in awe I am of your sewing skills  Kiss

Thanks a lot everyone. <3 Your kind words make the frustration of making them a bit more worthwhile. Cheesy

O. M. G.

I know a lot of ren faire kids that would be so jealous of you... and it's a Halloween costume!

(or maybe I just don't fully appreciate the intensity of Halloween? Since We don't actually celebrate where I live.)

absolutely stunning. I can not begin to imagine the amount of work you put into those - and you did it in a month!? Amazing job. Smiley

Yeah.... I'm not *ever* doing that again. LOL. Wayyyyy too stressful.

I forgot to add, I also made a bumroll but I didn't wear it because it turned my ass into a continental shelf and I didn't want my husband setting drinks on my backside all night.  Roll Eyes

LOL.

Seriously, insanely awesome work. I'd have to give myself a year to pull something that complicated off so it looked halfway decent.

Nah, I happened to do it to wear to Halloween, but this will definitely get ren faire/SCA usage when I finish it. Smiley
