I couldn't exactly decide between dirigible-pilot steam punk and lady-scientist steam punk. A lot of people thought I was Amelia Earhart. People were amused even though a lot of people didn't figure it out.

so I traipsed about my college dressed ridiculously all day, and it was fun. It actually sparked a long conversation about steampunkery with my former math professor, which was most entertaining.

Vader and I like to hang out. He doesn't usually threaten my life, but whatever.

pilots/scientists like to hang out with lumberjacks, too.

this is a very crappy pic, but it shows most of the costume. Not my awesome boots, but still...

sleep deprivation, but it shows you the top half...

I will update this with better pictures if I can finds some. The costume consists of an altered and tea-dyed ruffly shirt, an blue vest, an orange tiered skirt and a gray one that I dyed and sewed to look a little bit like a bustle, leggings, motorcycle boots, a jacket, and of course, goggles. I only altered about half of the stuff, but I think it was fairly convincing ^^

Thanks for looking!
