So, i came across these really pretty, ornate clock hands, and decided to make them into fancy dangle-y earrings:

i really like them because there seems to be something so unexpected about them.
but, at the same time, i don't really wear gold, so i may just end up selling them.
perhaps i can find pretty silver clock hands.

create a great day!!!

Shocked That's so weird! My boyfriend made me a clock out of a vintage picture for Christmas, and they had the exact same hands in silver. Where did you find them?

strange. i wonder if they are vintage.

we actually had them laying around at work--i work at an art gallery/studio. i have no clue why we had them, and they'd been sitting in a jar (of all things) that was covered in dust. so i reclaimed them.

Wow! So cool. When I first saw them I though the were huge because of the picture size!  Shocked But After looking at the earring size I realize they are perfect. Great job!

One awesome album artwork, if I say so myself.

What if you painted them with silver paint?  Since they do dangle, you wouldn't have to worry about the paint rubbing on you or maybe irritating your skin.  Then, you could replace the links and earwires with silver colored materials.

they are really great! i paint a lot of metal things i make, so i'm all for the metal paint. maybe look for another set on ebay? all the new ones that you buy in kits look too generic
