I claim goodtimegirl  for a rendition of Shakespeare and fun print fabric

1st claim, 0 in transit, 0 received

hi! Im Val from MS (USA). I have one wonderful hubby, one kiddo (girl age 3), and one very spoiled yorkie.
I have lots of allergies- main ones being smoke, cats (long as the items you send me are washable/wipe off-able it should be ok with the cats), perfumes and wool.
I love to craft! I sew, embroider, crochet (simple stuff), paint and make stuff out of beads and wire.
I also adore fabrics, buttons, cameos, antiques, dolls, birds, necklaces, bracelets, and blues, corals, browns, greens,  and most all colors other than neon and not skull prints and the like (just isnt my thing  ) and I love to read.
I wear jewelry but not earrings.
Id have to say my style is funky vintage Victorian and classic all rolled up into one.

Crafts:
*A soft hand knitted or crochet shawl in colors of blues, browns, greens, rust, goldenrod (fall-ish colors) that is washable and not made of wool yarn. i love textured patterns. (Examples)

But will love anything that is made in kiddos favorite colors.

*Felt food~ veggies, fruits, cupcakes, doughnuts, bacon eggs etc, that is washable for kiddos play kitchen (nothing too small as she still likes to taste everything please- so like string beans and pea pods are ok, but not individual peas)

I am Marie and I live in Chicago, USA.

I have a thing for owls, I just got an owl tattoo for my husbands birthday.
I am in need of things to help me organize my space (baskets, trays and what not).
I like all colors but orange, I usually prefers solids but I also like florals, dots and stripes and tone-on-tone.

I'd like to claim Im Sew Silly for 2 decoupaged wall hangers

This is my 5th claim.

2 sent (2 have been received so far), 2 are in transit and I have recieved 2 so far
.

I'm in Streaky Bay, South Australia, late 20s, carer of 2 special needs children (Autism & A.D.H.D for those who are curious) as well as my partner who has an aquired brain injury, also have a cat, a dog and a baby wild cottontail rabbit. Life is busy and hectic at the best of times here, but we get through it

I dabble in many different crafts, but don't do any of them consistently, except sewing.

I love to learn new things!.

I love the colours teal and chocolate brown

I love natural fibers such as hemp, cottons, canvas, calico and linen.

We are working on leading a simpler life this year as the price of things here in Australia is getting rediculous   , being self sufficient isn't a choice anymore it's a neccesity

Crafts

A crochet hook roll with crochet hooks to get me started. THANKYOU addicted2knitting

Travel wallet

A tam (crocheted, preferably in rainbow hand dyed homespun (?) angora or similar soft wool)

I would love a pair of pure wool hand knitted socks (for my DH- shoe size 11)

1950s Happy Homemaker theme embroidered linen tea towel for decorative purposes. (I'd give to my nan for christmas she loves 1950's and pin-up)

Fabric wall/over door organiser

Anything from my wists --- Thankyou claire313!

Craft Supplies

Fat quarters - cotton, hemp, canvas, calico or linen of any color (except pastels and tan/yellows)- I'm a novice sewer trying to build a stash. ---  THANKYOU sunspotted!

Any interesting fabric, fabric scraps, colorful trims, colorful elastic or elastic thread, rickrack, bias tape...you get the idea :p --- THANKYOU sunspotted!

Polymer/Fimo clay kit and directions to get me started . . .

Pinking scissors/shears

Jar of randomness... I've seen some very cool "whimsy jars" around and I just love the idea of getting a jar filled with bits of wonderfulness (i.e. beads, charms, Buttons etc) ---THANKYOU eightdandelions!

Altoid tins

Extras

Chocolate /candy (lollies)---(always appreciated) especially brands we don't see in Australia such as Hersheys e.t.c

***** Thankyou in advance to anyone who claims me  *****
I've tried to just to put in only the things I need or would like to have, many of the things in bold I would either use or gift to family for christmas, our budget for presents this year isn't very big due to a looming recession over here  Embarrassed

It's the last day of November and I had planned on closing this round tonight, but I have a problem.  Two of my other swap partners, who should have received by now, either haven't or haven't let me know if they did.  Please answer your PMs people!!!!  So right now I don't have a spot open to take on organizing Round 41.  Sorry everybody, I screwed up.

As far as I can see, we have two options.  A)  Someone else organizes the next round or 2) I leave this round up for 2-3 days until I have an opening to start Round 41.

I know it's last minute and this was a holiday weekend for alot of people, so I'll leave it open to a vote.  Feel free to comment over in the discussion thread ( http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=271374.70 )or PM me.  If someone wants the organizers spot, they can start right away, otherwise you can keep claiming here and we'll pretend that November is 34 days long.

I'm really sorry about this everybody.  I completely blame Canada Post and my inability to count to 5.   Grin
