I kept stabbing myself when reaching into my craft box, looking for needles or other pointy objects.  I thought it time to retire from the life of a human pincushion, and make myself a cute little crafting kit/needlebook.

This one's mostly for sewing and embroidery.  If I make another one I think I'd add a small pocket on the scissors side for some embroidery thread.  My favorite bit is the little skull pincushion.  He can hold pin and needles when flat, but works like a regular pincushion when the kit is open.

I was thinking the same thing. I looked on the tutorial and it's a machine embroidery - thank goodness. I was insanely jealous of how neat and perfect it is, and now I feel a bit better. I want one!

Yes...to clarify, it is a machine embroidery design.  No way I could stitch that by hand, so don't feel like you need to pull of a similar feat manually.  You can get a hand embroidery version of the file too though, if you don't have a machine.
