im one of those ppl who LOVES halloween and dressing up.. and being a crafty person, i refuse to buy a flimsy ill-fitting costume and make it myself... Smiley

i have other costumes to finish (of course i procrastinate!) but i couldnt resist torturing the dog (he likes wearing hoodies and the like, i swear. he gets cold fast, bc hes a mini poodle.. trust me he needs a jacket during a nj winter)

its a thin white waffle weave (reminds me of a baby blanket.. and my dog LOVES blankets) with a red fleece covered button for a nose and ears on his hood.. one button at the chest, and a small band across the belly.

took about an hour and im really happy with it. but i think my dog looks pretty darn cute in anything lol Smiley

*sorry, uploaded the pics through craftster this time*

This is amazing! Last year our beagle was a hot dog, this year he has to be Zero. Thanks for the awesome idea, and it looks fantastic!

so cute!  I recently saw that there's a licensed version of this for sale- I might buy it to see if I can modify it for my almost-crawling son.  =)

this is too cute! i was thinking of making one for my chihuahua this year, and i now i feel like i have to! how did you keep the head piece attached? and do you have pictures of it lying flat on the floor? I'm not so creative with the asymetrical look of it, and am scared of making it look messy. thanks!

Awww.  I would so do this with my dog, but a) he'd rip it to shreds and b) a rottweiler dressed up as Zero would look kinda silly.

Your dog looks so much like mine that it isn't funny, except mine is a schnauzer, not a mini poodle, and she would never let me put her in a costume. We have, however, made her a halloween colored collar, which she wears begrudgingly.

I will happily do personal swaps for beads, buttons, and fat quarters!
