I made this little Mei Tai (Asian Baby Carrier) for my roommate's sister-in-law.  Its rainbow and has Finding Nemo on it, with a little pocket for a diaper of cell phone.  The baby is tied up close to the carrier and from what I have read about them, they are supposed to be really good for you back compared to other carriers.  Here is the tutorial I used for it.  Its really good.

Crafts make us feel rooted, give us a sense of belonging and connect us with our history.  Our ancestors used to create these crafts out of necessity, and now we do them for fun... to express ourselves.

I bet she'll love it. Those carriers are the best. I made one that I use to carry my daughter in all the time. The nice thing about the mei tai is that it works for a looooong time. Good job!
