I just made this cute little house. I found the tute on the pimp stitch blog
http://pimpstitch.typepad.com/blog/2008/10/monday-tutorial-little-house-ornaments.html
the tutorial pattern didn't work for me though. It turned out like a giant hershey kiss. so I made my own pattern. Here's the result.
I have 3 more I'm working on. super easy and fun!

My place is usually tidier than this.

Sweet!  That is just the cutest little thing and it looks so simple, I need to give it a try. I want a whole village of them!  And I wouldn't even mind if they were shaped like a hershey kiss.  In fact I would like a real house shaped like that. Smiley

Thanks for posting it! Smiley

If you use the tutorial that I linked to. Make your fabric pieces look like the ones in the picture as apposed to the ones in the pattern.  hope that helps.

You're right.  I just checked out the tutorial and the shape of the small piece wouldn't actually make a pointed roof.  Hmmmm.  Well anyway I can figure it out.  I just think it's so clever, the little pointy shape for a house.  Makes me want to experiment with some other kooky little shapes for stuffed houses. Imposssible to make just one. I am making four. I think the best part is adding the details. I had lots of fun embroidering the flowers. My first ever french knot. yipeeee. Grin
