so my SO decides a few days before halloween that he wants to be a PANDA BEAR.   ><  after running around town for a couple of days and determining that there are no panda costumes to be found (other than mascot rentals, yuck), we hit the internet.  and can't find anyone who'll ship anything to us in time.  he's heartbroken.

inspired by an online hat (http://www.amazon.com/Gaia-Panda-Cosplay-Hat/dp/B001DSUWPG), i send him out for a white cap of some sort and some felt.  a couple of hours later...

i'll post photos of the entire costume after halloween!

well, thanks, everyone!

we actually found sticky-back felt which made the process sew-free (and much, much quicker).  if you can find the stuff, i highly recommend!

the tall hat's from turtle fur - it has a fold-over brim which we unfolded.  Wink

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.
