I received a necklace from someone that is made from large hemp and is fairly wide.  It's a little stiff.  Is there any way to soften it?

Simply getting the hemp wet normally seems to soften it. Hope this helps. NOTE*** This will make the hemp item a bit bigger than it was before it got wet.

I love personal swaps! I knit and make jewelry mostly, but do a few other crafts as well. PM me. =)

Shower with it on a few times.  Grin
Hemp is one of those things you must 'break in' for it to be comfortable.
