Poor Willyum, is that his hat that was broken? According to my book, gnomes are very attached to their hats (and we can see they even wear them when they wear nothing else than shorts Smiley ), he must have been quite upset! OK, maybe he's getting used to getting shattered Smiley Maybe that is the clay version of Alzheimer? Smiley Good he has some winter gear now.

Ewulotta, how come you make all the cookies I always wanted to give a try and never have? I really must make cinammon stars this year, and gingerbread men. Filbert is so lucky to make these, they're great.

kuckyjune, great cat picture! They both seem to enjoy napping together. I think that'd be a good requirement for the next swap: "We recommend sending kid and cat proof gnomes." Smiley Smiley I don't know if a gnome can be made dog proof, but at least a dog can be gnome-trained Smiley

How was that picture of the scoreboard done? Is it real? I am speechless!

I didn't know the gnome book has been made into a cartoon! It was one of my favourite books as a kid too! I still love the illustrations! I just wish they had given the female gnomes a bit more gnomey stuff than just 'staying home doing the housework, raising the kids and do the weaving and sewing' *sigh*
I'm very happy that we have our swap gallery to proof that ALL gnomes can be out having fun! Smiley

Poor Willyum!  He's had his share of injuries hasn't he?

I'm very jealous of all this cookie-making that Filbert is doing, but when little Ruby gets here we are going to make some brigadeiros, that'll make Filbert jealous!

I laughed at Kuckyjune's cat photo, that's so cute  Cheesy

It has occurred to me that I did not post pictures to prove I was taking good care of Howard while he was here!

First, mandatory shot with my baby:

It was Howard's turn to wake him up and feed him, unfortunately he has no arms so got out of that easily!

He asked if he could sleep in my jewelry box, apparently he likes enclosed spaces and shiny things? I'm not sure if this is a lie, but here he is just getting up from a nap:

Great elephants! Great jewellery box! Cutest baby!

Yesterday, I got a postcard from my Ruby, and it's a meeean one! Because it's so true! Smiley

In the writing on the back, she goes on and on how much fun she has in the sun, on the beach, etc... Thank you SO much for this card, bsonlytoots *growl*
Smiley Smiley Smiley

Ha! Wait till you see how much fun Williyum will have in cold sleet! It'll be nothing but fun! If he has ever had a cold rainy wind hitting his clenched teeth while stomping through freezing mud he'll never ever want to have the same old boring sunshine all the time Smiley Smiley Smiley
