That's a nice one of Francis!

Droo really looks handsome! I'm so excited to have him here soon. That's a lovely monster to have around on a long journey! What a great idea, I think your kids have a point there.

Filbert is on his way to Ewulotta now, we will all miss him!
Here are some pictures that didn't make it into the album (and, d'oh! I did find some that should have made it into the album - you'll get them later, angeltreats!)

Filbert was also a snow fairy, like Paddy, because as soon as he was here, we had snow! He was so excited to go out that he forgot to put on his scarf!

Helping my kids with the first christmas cookies (on their request):

Hello Gnomey will be on her way tomorrow but for now here are a couple pics of her visit here.

She went to work with me one day and met WarDance.  He was left behiind by the PBR when they were in town last.  She was determined to go the full 8 seconds.

She also got to hang out with my work gnome.

Well, Frosty isn't getting mailed out today after all, as I came home from breakfast with friends to find no hot water and no electricity.  So I can't print out my photos, and have to stay here waiting for the water company - the electric utility guys are here, they say it's their cabling above the street, and are fixing it now.  I'm mooching a neighbor's wireless to read email etc while waiting for repairmen to do their magic - half-hour left on laptop battery time, better go read a book to conserve energy.  Smiley

Frosty had fun having breakfast with us gals - and we made a quick stop at Starbucks for a drink (5cent donation thingee) and a post-breakfast snack.   Grin

Ooooo rumor has it the water guys are making a fix a block over, this has affected quite a few people - so I might still be able to mail it today, if I don't need to wait to let 'em inside my house....   Wink

So sorry to hear about your water and electric issues, Camelama.  Looking forward to receiving Frosty once everything is back to normal at your place. Smiley

Everything's dandy again.  The water issue was a valve thingee a block away, wiped out everyone's water on our street.  I was just the first one home to discover it.   Shocked

The electricity has a temporary fix - they jumpered two cables together, put a splice on it, tied it up, basically did everything including putting a cast and a splint on it and giving it crutches.  Smiley  They'll be back next week with all new equipment and materials to do a permanent fix.  The guys said our neighborhood's wiring was probably from 1950!

No wonder we lose electricity whenever there are wind gusts over 10 mph.  Roll Eyes

Frosty will go out first thing Tuesday morning!

Isabelle is on her way to Cookies in Ohio.

Here is how she arrived, looks like she had quite the trip...

But she quickly recovered and got to bum around the yard with us before our trip to the townships.

I really hope Filbert will arrive tomorrow as I have to give a presentation on England and he would be perfect to assist me Smiley

I'll swap for postcards, badges, maps or brochures from everywhere in the US! I'm an English teacher and always happy about authentic material for my classroom.
