your personal style
«

didn't know if this was the right forum for this, but here goes.
in this thread, describe YOUR personal style, with photos to illustrate if you got em.
mine's best described as punk-inspired though not punk itself...i don't wear the studded and patched up jacket and bondage pants and bullet accessories anymore, instead mostly stuff like skinny jeans, abstract graphic t's, western shirts, combat boots, creepers and denim and vintage military jackets:

johnnyxlondon - woah. *drool*
ANYWAY... Im... kinda eccentric. Well when I try, most days I throw on a hoodie and jeans and call it done. But with hair like mine... I dont really need to dress too insane to look insane.
Wow I never realized how much I lack in photos of me on a normal day... I only have photoshoot images... which are true to my style, but generally inappropriate to be posting on this board.

I want spiffy colored hair
(Awesome thread idea, btw)
I dont really have a style. I was gothy all through highschool and am starting to phase back into colored clothing.
I'm super into the corsets, usually wear them whenever I go somewhere and want to dress up.
Usual look
Only thing somewhat origonal is my hair length (40' atm)
I used to do makeup all the time (now I don't, too lazy and out of practice)
This thread should be super inspiring once it gets going! I loves my fellow craftsters, your all such geniuses<3
*About thread- should we have a limit on # of photos we post? I narrowed it down to 3 out of 20 potential ones, lol.

you can always link to other pics, that works great and takes up much less bandwidth.

Well, I want to be this... (Valentines present for hubby - self portrait)
But I have to settle for this, since I'm a Mommy and a CPA (another self-portrait).
MADness - you make me miss my hair. I cut off 12 inches last year this time (donated to locks of love), but at least I still have a good 12" left LOL!

I like dressing kitschy, and I like second hand clothes a lot. I almost never throw old clothes away, and I like combining crazy clothes together to see the results.
Example Pic:
This thread is going to be awesomeee.

This is me too. I used to have this look that was somewhere between preppy and hippie (never would have guessed, huh?), but now it's all about comfort

ohh johnny, copying my thread from PRD eh ? ;P
haha. anyway. i dress for comfort during the day but purely for aesthetics in the evening. People probably find it weird that i'll spend all day wearing a loose jumper and shoes that won't fall apart after ten minutes, but then by night i'll be in a skintight dress with huge high heels.
My day clothes: all my jeans are tight. I own one pair that are purple, the rest are black or blue. I realllly want some in acid wash.
In summer i wear flat shoes - or trainers if i have to walk a lot - but by winter i'm confined to DM boots or creepers. Eveningwear is always vertiginous heels, even if I am six foot tall.
My flats are all silly prints and colours - my pride and joy are red leather ones with beads and sequins that my sister bought me from morocco
Right now i fucking love crusty jewelry, juxtaposed with something classic in silver.
On the whole i like to channel Kate Lanphear's look, but i still wear a few colours and prints occasionally, as well as a few more "punk" items.
http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb195/Aretha20/NEW/BEHIND%20EVERY%20MAGAZINE/LANPHEAR.jpg
See how it's monochrome but never dull ? yeah. i try to aim for that.

my style is SOOO random!
i wear provocative punk clothing, somedays i'm a goth, other days i'm just a dog-person (training clothes) and sometimes i'm more metal. and it really varies reaaally much depending on the day. but my smile still stays on!
so an accurate description of me would be:
sometimes i'm like this:
and other days i just wear jeans and a t-shirt....
