So I've just learned to knit (yeay internet tutorials and an awesome friend learning with me!) and I immediately picked up circular needles- neckwarmers and cowls are so great!!

Here's my first project in the round, a neckwarmer that could probably be a teeny bit longer, in Mission Falls superwash merino (I really like this yarn!)

Lying flat:


On:  (See how it should be a little longer? Just barely covers my nose!)


Closeup of the stitches- I was just kind of playing around and made this spiral-ish pattern... ha, didn't turn out how I pictured it in my head! Smiley **This pic's closest in color, too

Awesome! I learned to knit when I was six or seven and I still haven't gotten past the scarf stage  Angry I'm jealous!

Well done, it's really nice and looks cosy. I'm currently on my second circular knitting project and am loving it...much more interesting that normal knitting!  Smiley
