Hey everyone!  I have been working on this for a while and I am so happy to be finished with it.  The pattern is from this book http://sussdesigns.com/knittingSite/productDetail.php?prodID=164 Hollywood Knits - Style.  I stuck to the pattern for the most part but I changed the dimensions a little.  This was my first knitting project and I think it turned out pretty good (hopefully it looks like a knitted bag is supposed to)- I have received a lot of complements on it also.  I used bamboo handles and part of a fat quarter for the lining (which I hand stitched in) Sorry the pics kinda suck - I was anxious to post it so I didn't feel like taking better pics.  Hope you guys like it!

Comments and criticism are greatly appreciated!!!

It looks great especially for a first project.  I like the colors a lot!

And since you asked it does look like you might be twisting your stitches by knitting into the back of the loop.  Essentially this is a K tbl here is a link with videos  http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/knitting-glossary

Its a really common mistake for new knitters.
