Details of Swap:
If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see? -- AliceThrough the looking glass and into the world of Alice!
For over 140 years, Lewis Carroll's wonderful world of Alice has inspired countless artists and authors to look the world through the fantastical eyes of a child.
With this swap, we will be taking our cues from those artists, authors, and Carroll himself as we sew, paint, decopauge, spin, and knit our way to our own version of Wonderland.
Crafters of all shapes and skills are welcome to participate!
This swap will be for 6, 10, or 12 points, which you will specify in the questionnaire below. At least 4 of the points, no matter which you choose, MUST be
one large or
two mediums. You may purchase handcrafted items from places such as etsy for up to 3 points.
Simply put, ONE hour = $10 = ONE point.
There are 7 weeks of crafting time, so no sweat!
Rules:
Please put at least "ALICE" in the title of all pms.
All participants must check in at least once a week, by pm or by posting in this thread.
If your partner is within the US, you MUST get a DC and pm it to the organizer and your partner.
Important note: Feedback will ONLY be given after you send, receive, and post pictures of what you received. If you do not have a camera, please make arrangements with your partner so they can take pictures before they send.
Reminder: This swap is for 6, 10, or 12 points, please specify.
To participate, and to indicate you've read the rules, pm the questionnaire and put the word potato somewhere in the message.
To be approved, the questionnaire must be completely filled out (unless you don't have any wists/websites, of course).
