Happiness will always be a napping skunk...

Once upon a time I knitted a pair of slippers...the only knitting project of my life!  10 years later they are sorely lacking in warmth as there are holes in the bottom of both!

So, not remembering how I made them, I opened up one and proceeded to count.  I am so thoroughly proud of my second pair, since I had no pattern and no recollection of one, and the new pair turned out pretty darn good.  Maybe I can do this knitting thing after all and might try my needles at something else...

Comments, suggestions of other projects to try, and constructive criticism all welcome and appreciated!!

These are the old ones. If you look close you can see the holes!

These fit real nice!

Good job, coco!

Out with the old and in with the new!  It's great that you were able to reconstruct your work by taking the old slippers apart.

I haven't yet found a knitted slipper pattern that I adore, so I sewed some up using flannel and vinyl!
