Inspired by all the great coffee cuffs I've seen around here, I decided to make some for Christmas gifts. I made my own patterns and designs, thus the variations in sizing. [EDIT: I should note that for the guitar design, I started with some free clip art and made modifications to suit my plan. It's not totally my pattern. Oh, and the font is Pupcat, a free download. Undecided]

Two of them are hand embroidered on muslin with batik backing, made for a "green" someone.

And two of them are done with batiks and reverse applique, made for a "quilty" someone.

All of them have a layer of batting in between, and the loops on the back are elastic to allow for size adjustments. I wanted to use prettier elastic cording for the loops, but it was too thick to work with in the way I wanted to. I might revise that for next time.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with them. Thanks for looking!

(More info and photos on my blog or Flickr page, links below.)

EDIT: Oh, wow. Just discovered I spelled "reusable" wrong. Oops. It adds character, right? Wink
