Well, I'm too cheap to buy anything retail, and there were no purses that grabbed my eye at the thrift store, so I decided to make my own!  Again, too cheap to buy a pattern, so I winged it... wung it?... using the help of one of the tutes from the tute list on here (thank you thank you everyone who has contributed!).

The results?  Mixed, but mostly satitisfied.  Don't look to close or you may find the mistakes.  But from far away, I say not bad! 



I really love the print on the inside.  It's a lovely surprise every time I unzip the top.



And I added an elasticized pocket on the other side for my cell phone, but it turned out too small, so it's for my keys instead.  Smiley

Hi hun,

Great job.....I think I can recognise a few of the tutes you've used bits of!  I hope you've actually made yourself a pattern now....that way, you can make yourself more of them....bag making is VERY addictive, worse than any other vice I reckon!

It looks great to me too! I personally love the fact that you used white for the outer fabric. Most people wouldn't dare as they're afraid it'll get dirty easily. But look at the effect it creates! Smiley
