I've been experimenting making jewelry from acrylic lately.  Here is my favorite piece so far.  It is a very large necklace, but oh so fun to wear.

That's insane.  Beautiful stuff.

While I was looking at the pic from the front page, the text came up at the top mentioning jewelry and I kept wondering what a lampshade was doing in the jewelry section.  Cheesy

Awesome! I really love it.

What does one need to cut plastic with laser? I'm having images of some sort of laser cannon cutting delicate pieces of plastic...lol

fabulous!  i'd also love to see it with a dark chain, or a dark leather or pleather or dark cording of some sort.

I've had the know how about acrylic for a few years now, but just started having fun with it about 2 weeks ago.  I think I'm hooked.

What does one need to cut plastic with laser?
One needs a CO2 laser system and some sheets of acrylic.  Also some design skills on the computer.

that's really pretty! how big is it?
The plastic part is about 4.5"x5"  It pretty much takes up my whole chest.
