I bought some in the only shop stocking them on the High St and have just been told my several people that the quality is not very good and they never last long. I will be taking them back then

I love wearing cable jumpers. I have just ordered the Bitch n Stitch book. Will there be enough time to learn how to knit before mid November. I am in London and it is getting colder by the minute

I would say you could certainly knit that soon! Just get some wool, tune your computer to www.knittinghelp.com and get started!

If you want to knit a jumper/sweater, the easiest one to start out with seems to be the neck-down raglan sleeve type. Easier to do the collar that way as well.

Just spend time practicing and I'm sure you'll be able to do it!
