Oh man... so I actually make a lot of costumes.... but Im at school and I have none of them here. I want to make one, but Im running low on ideas... help?

My budget is no more than MAYBE $20 absolutely tops - Im broke. But I do have a fairly large wardrobe and accessories to use if needed... I want to sew it - seeing as I am at fashion design school... but I want a cute fun idea... not just a crazy outfit I designed out of teh blue. I need it to be flattering... Im only 5'1" and I wear about a size 12. So none of those super short skanky things cause uhhhh nobody wants to see me in that.

These are the only fabrics that I have tow ork with... and varying quantities of each. Most are knits except the top two blues.

Closeup of the texture of the fuzzy ones...

And very importantly - I want it to go with  my hair!!!! Which is currently... this...

Help? I super appreciate it!

Shocked Ohhhh....your hair is flippin' awesome!! I need to do that next time.... Grin  As for a costume, how bout Tonks from Harry Potter? She's always changing her hair colors and she is also petite and you could just make a bright robe to wear and get a stick and make a wand....

Your hair is freakin amazing. The fabrics remind me of a gogo girl outfit. You can make it unskanky and make spats to look like boots.  Grin

Wow Smiley I saw your blue eyebrows and immediately thought George from Paradise Kiss... but that's of course completely obscure and so I guess not a costume. My second thought, though, was Rainbow Brite! It may be a bit shorter than you wanted, but you have the blues and then crazy colors to pull it off. Dragonflies have crazy colors sometimes, too... or a phoenix..?

Your hair reminds me of a bird. Maybe a macaw...
