The Belle costume is a combination of two patterns. Simplicities 9902 and 4764. I used a deeper gold satin as opposed to the traditional yellow gold. I dyed the lace to match the fabric. By combining yellow gold and tan rit dye. BTW polyester lace dyes surprisingly well. The shoes were a plain white satin pair that I dyed to match, added some trim, little roses and hand beaded. Ther necklace is made from trim, little satin roses and beads. I made a tutu style slip to go under the dress to add poof. For the Beast I made  a simple one piece outift out of a tan minky fabric and added furry feet. I cut down a womans jacket for the jacket added a velvet collar and some trims. The reast of the outfit is sewn onto the one piece. For the head piece I used part of an old lion costume and added the horns.

Is it just me or are those shoes to die for!? Love 'em! LOVE 'EM!

Your attention to detail is marvelous. That's what make a good costume really great.
