Hi,

Can any of you tell me how to get the frosting like this on top?

I am going to make a giant cupcake cake for my daughters first birthday and have never done fancy frosting before, so if you have any tips i would really appreciate it.

In the photo previous to the one you posted in flickr the decorator says she used the Wilton 1M (also known as 2110) tip which is a star or drop flower tip.  It looks like many individual swirls were made to create that effect.  This cake at the Wilton site uses the tip for a similar effect and has a video to watch.  Hope this helps!
