Thought I should give a little update on my x-mas projects...

My mom's Afghan is almost done just a few more granny sqaures and soem assembly required.

I finished a bunch of scarves this past week so I only have one or possibly two more to make.

I finished my little boys hat for the adopt a family deal my cousin is doing.  I am working on a nice warm scarf for him too.

Thats all I can remember right now.

I need to get rid of stuff!! i have soap kits, bath salt kits, lip balm kits, plain canvas tote bags, fabric paints, and other stuff i'm trying to clean out. It'd be cool to swap for yarn, but i'll give it away FREE! PM me if you're interested!!!

soo everyone loved their presents and regretably I didn't get pictures of everything. mom loved her hat and matching scarf (she even wore the scarf to dinner). Ciera (and her mini schnauzer puppy Max)  loved thier snuggle blanket, grandpa loved his winery sign and grandma loved her cowl. now I just have the future in laws to crochet for..the hardest people I have to craft for by far  Lips sealed

progress! i actually managed to get pictures of some of these!

here's the boy's hat, the math scarf, and the music scarf, all in one post:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=283597.msg3213198#msg3213198

i actually finished the mittens (red heart in pink camo) but i accidentally gave them away without getting a picture first. oops.

i did however, make the cutest little tags for them. i had a 1 7/8" circle punch, and i stamped and embossed the hands in black and wrote "made" underneath (get it? handmade?). added a scrapbooking rivet in black, and wrote the care instructions on the back. i attached them with a bit of scrap yarn and a small safety pin.

i gotta say, http://www.textileaffairs.com/lguide.htm is a great site for interpreting symbols.

Well I only managed one more crochet gift.  I made my dad some mittens/fingerless gloves for scraping snow/ice off of his windshield.  Hope he likes them.  And they are even in pretty University of Wyoming colors  Grin
