Hi all!!
This is my first time posting.  I adore this site and I've been lurking for months.
Here is my first post.  Every year in my son's school, each class must make a scarecrow represnting a character in a book that they are reading in class.  Well my son is in first grade and his class is reading Mo Willem's "Don't let the Pigeon drive the bus!"  Soooo all the Mom's had to get together to make the Pigeon.  I am Head Class Mommy, so I pretty much had to do the most.
Here he is without further adieu....

His head is a foam ball covered with plaster strips, his beak is a foam cone covered in plaster strips.  His body is a balloon covered in plaster strips.
Sorry I don't have play by play pics.
So what do you think??
I thinks he's pretty cute!!

Oh, gosh!  He's perfect!  Mo would love you! (as we do)

And I just bought a pigeon t-shirt at a library conference.  Strange to see your project - I don't think I've ever seen any Willems crafts on here before!
