Bathroom redecorated!

mr.sweets4ever and I have taken the whole "nesting" concept a little far, I think.  I'm due in just over two weeks and we decided we need to repaint some rooms in our house now.

Anywho, we bought our house 6 years ago.  I don't think I have pictures of the original bathroom, but it was awwwful.  It may have been the original bathroom from the build in 1969.   We remodelled -- new sink, vanity, lighting, tiles, tub and surround.  Unfortunately we either ran out of time, money or energy and we never really decorated it.  But now we've finally redeemed ourselves!

I wish I could claim the wall hanging as my own creation, but I purchased it at Burlington Coat Factory.

Weird that you asked about the illumination!  Hubby thought it looked illuminated in the photo as well.  It's actually 3 solid plates.  I think the copper bits just pick up the flash of the camera really well.

Unfortunately, no...   I bought it.  It reminds me so much of acid-treated metal -- I couldn't resist.  I got it at Burlington Coat Factory.

Pretty! and so much less hospital like. I love the artwork but the off center-ness of the placement is bugging me. Sorry. =P Maybe I'm just noticing it because of the picture though. Love the green, it's so calming.

Thanks!!  I thought the same thing about the hospital qualities.

Haha!  I off-centered it on purpose.  If it were centered directly over the toilet, it would have been just a few mere inches from the shower door.  That would have bugged the heck out of me.
