My friend just had a birthday and I made this Spell Book with a secret compartment for her. 
I think it turned out well and that she liked it.

I made a fabric cover and stenciled the title and design on the binding.

This is the original book.

and the inside secret compartment.

I referenced this great Make: Weekend Project video to make the secret compartment.
