This is my very first corset I made a lot of mistakes but all in all, I think it turned out great. It is black vinyl I found at hobby lobby with this great embossed floral pattern. The only thing I wish I could change is that I put in too many eyelets and some fell out.

it looks great! you may have made mistakes, but i definitely can't see them. corsets really intimidate me, so congratulations on your first!

and it DEFINATELY seems wearable, so you couldnt have made too many :-D

It is okay to wear, just a pain in the butt to lace up. gives me great posture though.

lol thanks! I actually discovered the boosh through craftster.....

I didnt have enough binding for the edges and it kinda looks bunched up when i take it off but I am going to repair it. I am wearing it at my company costume contest on halloween. first prize is a hundred bucks, not too shabby.

It looks good, especially for your first corset. I haven't made one yet myself but am collecting tips. Try grommets instead of eyelets next time. I don't necessarily see sewing mistakes but it looks too big from the picture. What did you use to line it? What is your whole Halloween costume? I have an awesome corset and want to incorporate it into a Halloween costume in the future.  Wink
