MonkeyThumb: Egad, thank you so much!  Grin I would put it in my favorites made by me, but I don't have Fo'C status yet  Undecided

Verde: Thank you! The pockets were actually the products of a bunch of obstacles, like how to double-side the printing just right

Hehee - I was wondering about that, too!

Isn't it great how problems turn into individual charms!

Beautiful illustrations.  A wonderful craft for your partner.  Lucky lucky partner.  I'm a big phoenix fan myself.  And that Dickinson poem is one of my most favorite poems!  I did a tote bag with that first line on one side, and a bird in a cherry blossom branch on the other.

Beautiful beautiful!

Verde: Haha yes. I think that's where humor originates from too  Smiley

Fatewineroses: Thank you! I love that poem too, and that tote bag sounds quite enviable indeed! Did you post it??

Wow.  Just wow.  This is amazing.  The illustrations are beautiful and black was a great choice for them.    Smiley

I gotta try that candle trick, too; I love the effect.

This was your first book?  No way!  You did such a great job!  I love that the pages look old and kind of burnt in spots.  Your swap partner will be very lucky to own this.

Sorry to not have responded sooner! I fear college applications have kept me away from Craftster CryCheesy

bexieboo: Thank you so much!  Grin

cubancracker: Thank you! ^ ^ The candle part was fun, but tricky to control. I think next time I might dampen the pages a little to see if I can get more brown and less disintegration - the pages are a bit weak in places :/

witchytree: Thank you so much! She loved it, so I was quite happy indeed  Cheesy
