I made this off a tute on here and now I can't find it to link! I'm practicing making these so I can make my mother in law one for xmas with beatles fabric I have. It came out great except my machine  bobbin messed up and I didn't realize till I was done (you can see how the thread jumped all over like it's on a cafeene high on the inside stripes but the top is great)

Great fabric choice and very nice design.  Good work, and I don't think I would have noticed the wonky stitching if you hadn't pointed it out.

so cute- that fabric is lovely. It'll be fin with the Beatles fabric!
To help with the caffeine-high-needle-skipping, you may try a topstitching needle. After seeing this, I'm convinced:

The bobbin does it even when I'm just doing regular ol' stitching I just happened to be doing top stitching here so you can actually see where it messes up. I called about it bc it's a brand new babylock and shouldn't be doing this but they told me it was the bobbin being threaded upsidown??

The material is MODA pumpkins gone wild I think and i got it at a local specialty quilting shop. I loved it because there were a ton of coordinating fabrics , stripes, dots, flowers etc.

That color combination is to die for!  Shocked I love this!  I can't even tell where the machine messed up.

My machine does that, too.  You have to make sure the thread is going the right way.  It needs to just "roll" off the bobbin.  (Sorry, hard to explain!)  Just flip your bobbin over and notice how the thread is and you should be good to go!

Beautiful bag, too!  I've made TONS of those for gifts!
